Benghazi

I dont think anyone is saying we havent lost Americans under another president's watch. Clearly we have.

However, did Bush lie for over a week and say it was merely mob violence caused by an obscure video, when clearly it was the act of terrorists?

And did he send out proxies to help him cover this up while he was trying to win an election? (Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice).

And did his administrtion refuse to send help after repeated requests by the ambassadors while watching the event occur in real time?

At what point do we stop blaming this stuff on Bush and let this president stand on his own merits?

Um, help was dispatched. CIA folks were on the scene to help rescue people from the consulate. Special forces were deployed, but arrived way too late (they were coming from a long ways off). I see no reason to cover any thing up. As the truth isn't particularly damaging, I fail to see any need for a conspiracy.

Of course there's the need for a conspiracy. Now that the birthers have no real chance of getting rid of Obama because of his birth cert, they need something else to latch on to. After all, how is The Donald going to get on the news otherwise now that his BFF Mitt ain't sewing the presidential seal on his magic underwear?

The Obama administration dropped the ball on benghazi, did a shit job in trying to cover up that they'd dropped the ball, and got caught doing it. That's pretty much the story.
