Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Empty Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter

Post by Dennis324 Wed Aug 07, 2013 10:36 pm

During a July 25 meeting between President Obama and the leader of communist Vietnam. Obama stated:
“President Sang shared with me a copy of a letter sent by Ho Chi Minh to Harry Truman. And we discussed the fact that Ho Chi Minh was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson.”

Is this true?  Could the President of the United States claim that Ho Chi Min's inspiration was the Constitution and present it as fact?

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter 220px-Ho_Chi_Minh_1946Ho Chi Minh was a committed Marxist-Leninist revolutionary who cut his teeth at Moscow’s Lenin School.
He became one of the Soviet Comintern’s most successful agents. Among the testimonies to his efforts are the countless boat people from Vietnam who now live in America (many of whom voted for Obama).

But not only is Obama’s statement nonsense; it’s also the product of communist propaganda.
In addition to Obama’s mother, there was also Obama’s mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, an actual member of Communist Party USA.  Davis did full-time propaganda work for the communist cause.  Davis portrayed various global communist revolutionaries as reincarnates of the American Founders. Davis did this incessantly.  Preaching an Obama-like mantra of “fundamental change,” Davis averred: “If history teaches us anything, it teaches that any fundamental change advancing society is spearheaded by strong radicals.”

These were radicals, presumably, like Jefferson and Jay and Madison and Hamilton and … Lenin and Stalin.

Communists seem to love to compare their ideas and heroes to the Founding of this nation of ours.  But their idea of what the country should be and the Founding Fathers' idea are miles apart.

Man, i'm beginning to think maybe Obama really is a Marxist after all.

Kind of like how he's a "constitutional scholar?" Obama has been around crazy leftist radicals his entire life. In fact, it was his connections with some of these radicals that pretty much cleared a path for him getting into harvard. You start taking a look at his life and all the ppl in it, and manchurian candidate really starts to come to mind. This guy has just had so many doors opened for him.

Yep.  The Manchurian Candidate did come to mind.  Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter 2241554028

Did you guys know the President went by 'Barry Obama' until around 1980-81 when he was in college?  Usually people who become Muslim change their names to something Arabic.  Not saying Obama IS Muslim but....

Terrorists William Ayers & wife Bernadine Dohrn are among Obama's buddies whom he likely met at Occidental College.

In his book “Dreams From My Father”, he says that at Columbia he “went to socialist conferences …in Brooklyn.”

19851988- he began working as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project.  Saul Alinsky was a notorious far-leftist. Later Obama himself taught workshops on the Alinsky method. Professor John L. Mcknight, a Marxist follower of Alinsky, and former ACLU director, mentored Obama on the agitation tactics of Alinsky, who wrote the organizing manual, “Rules for Radicals,” which he dedicated to mankind’s “very first radical, Lucifer.” Under McKnight , Obama says he got the “best education I ever had, better than anything I got at Harvard Law School.”

In 1988- Obama went to Harvard and took advanced training at the Industrial Areas Foundation, a group founded by Alinsky .

We're seeing that Saul Alinsky was a key figure in Obama's life.  Here's a LINK to Saul Alinsky's "12 Rules for Radicals.  I encourage you guys to take a look at them because you'll see many of the ways that the current leftist radicals in America are working to defeat their opponents.  Their tactics (and Obama's) come straight from Saul Alinsky.

Alinsky died of a sudden, massive heart attack in 1972, at the age of 63. Two months previously, he discussed life after death in his interview with Playboy:
ALINSKY: ... if there is an afterlife, and I have anything to say about it, I will unreservedly choose to go to hell.
PLAYBOY: Why?
ALINSKY: Hell would be heaven for me. All my life I've been with the have-nots. Over here, if you're a have-not, you're short of dough. If you're a have-not in hell, you're short of virtue. Once I get into hell, I'll start organizing the have-nots over there.
PLAYBOY: Why them?
ALINSKY: They're my kind of people.
Well isn't that just special?
Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Church-lady-satan

In 1988- Obama joined racist, America hating Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity Church of Christ in Chicago and one Sunday was brought to tears by Rev. Wright’s “Audacity of Hope” sermon. Wright admittedly became his mentor and spiritual advisor for the next 20 years.

This man occupying the White House had a radical leftist upbringing, hung around and learned from some really bad bad people.  Not saying Obama is evil like Alinsky, Ayers and Wright, but some of their beliefs and ideas must have rubbed off on him.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Empty Obama's radical ties.

Post by Dennis324 Thu Aug 08, 2013 10:47 am

Look at the list of Radicals that Obama has surrounded himself with since becoming POTUS:

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter David_bonior
David Bonior has connections to the radical Washington D.C. "think tank" Institute for Policy Studies. He has also been involved in the Democratic Socialists of America
The Institute for Policy Studies was founded in 1963 and is a highly influential, but little known source of ideas, guidance and training for the U.S. and international left. It began as a revolutionary think-tank that consistently supported policies that facilitated the foreign policy goals of the Soviet Union and weakened the position of the United States.

The (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the US.

Bonior was touted as a likely Obama Labor Secretary but withdrew his name from contention. Obama then delegated Bonior, a member of his Transition Economic Advisory Board, to broker a re-unification of the U.S. labor movement, bringing the Change To Win grouping and the AFL-CIO back together under one banner.  (That Labor Movement fell right in line to elect and re-elect Obama).

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Brooks
Rosa Brooks is a senior advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy.  Brooks was an associate professor at the University of Virginia School of Law but more importantly she was  a consultant to the Open Society Institute.  The Open Society Institute is a George Soros project that works to build "vibrant and tolerant democracies" by trying to shape public policies. The Open Society is tied to the ACLU.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Van_jones_p
Van Jones was appointed on March 10, 2009 as Green Jobs adviser to the Obama administration.  In 2008 Van Jones was a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress.  The Center for American Progress is a think tank founded in 2003 by John Podesta, as an organization dedicated to progressive ideas and action.  I encourage you guys to take a look at all the radicals and Marxists...yes Marxist involved with this organization.  Anthony K. (Van) Jones, a Bay Area Marxist radical, was appointed on March 10, 2009 as Green Jobs adviser to the Obama administration-or officially Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ).  He said:
"I met all these young radical people of color - I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, 'This is what I need to be a part of... I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary...I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th..By August, I was a communist."'
Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Carol-browner
Carol Browner is the President's "Global Warming Czar".  In 2005 Carol Browner served on the board of Center for American Progress as the Principal of the The Albright Group.  Until late 2008 Browner was a member of Socialist International Commission for a Sustainable World Society.  Socialist International is the worldwide organization of social democratic, socialist and labor parties. There are 170 political parties and organizations from all continents in Socialist International.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Heather_Higginbottom
Heather Higginbottom was appointed as Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy on November 24, 2008. she was formerly with the Obama for America campaign. On October 30, 2001, while working for Senator Kerry, she addressed a Boston Democratic Socialists of America organized forum entitled "Welfare, Children and Families: The Impact of Welfare Reform".

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Patrick_Gaspard
Patrick Gaspard is a Brooklyn-based, Democratic operative who became, in June 2009, a White House director of the office of political affairs. In 1995 Patrick Gaspard was an organizer for the New Jersey chapter of the New Party.  The New Party was an electoral alliance dedicated to electing leftist candidates to office-usually through the Democratic Party.

Patrick Gaspard was born in Kinshasa, Zaire.  Bill Lynch brought Patrick Gaspard on to David Dinkins’ first mayoral race, as an intern in Dinkins' and then to City Hall, when Dinkins, a member of Democratic Socialists of America, won the New York Mayoralty.  Remember them?

Later Gaspard became chief of staff to Councilwoman Margarita Lopez, a radical feminist from the Lower East Side who was one of Mayor Giuliani's most vocal critics.

In 2003, Gaspard was granted leave from Local 1199 to work as the deputy national field director for the presidential campaign of Howard Dean .  After Dean was knocked out of the race, Gaspard became national field director for George Soros’ political action group America Coming Together.  In December 2006, Al Sharpton asked Patrick Gaspard to help him assemble an emergency meeting of about 300 activists, black nationalists, union and political leaders to decide on an appropriate response to the police shooting death of Sean Bell.

By 2001 Gaspard was a leading activist in the New Party offshoot, the New York Working Families Party.  His radical leftist affliliation goes on and on.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Kevin-jennings-c
Kevin Jennings was appointed Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education by the Obama administration.  Jennings has come under fire for a number of controversies during his time as a teacher, and then as the founder and director of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network. In 1988 a student told him that he had met an older man in a bus station bathroom, and gone home with him. Jennings understood that the boy was fifteen-years-old, however instead of reporting the incident as required under law, he said to the boy, "You know, I hope you knew to use a condom.". Jennings has used a pornography and pedophilia publisher to publish three text-books he has written. Jennings' admiration for Harry Hay, an outspoken supporter of the North American Man/Boy Love Association has also come under question. In his work for GLSEN, Jennings has railed against what he terms as the "promotion of heterosexuality" in schools. He was also involved in two notorious "Teach-Out" Conferences, during which student participants were given explicit instructions on a number of sexual techniques, and where Planned Parenthood distributed "fisting kits".

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Mark_lloyd
Mark Lloyd is the associate general counsel and Chief Diversity Officer at the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. He has been a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress focusing on communications policy issues, including universal service, advanced telecommunications deployment, media concentration and diversity.

At a conference on media reform and racial justice in 2008, Lloyd made the following comment:

"In Venezuela, with Chavez, really an incredible revolution, a democratic revolution to begin to put in place things that were going to have an impact on the people in Venezuela. The property owners and the folks who were then controlling the media in Venezuela rebelled, worked, frankly, with the folks here in the U.S. government, worked to oust him. But he came back in another revolution, and then Chavez began to take very seriously the media in his country."

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Samantha-power

In January 2009 President Obama appointed Samantha Power to the National Security Council, as director for multilateral affairs. Before this she had served as a senior advisor to Barack Obama in his Presidential campaign. However she resigned in March 2008 under controversy over her remarks about Hillary Clinton.

In 2003 Power signed the Statement on Cuba, initiated and circulated by prominent Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) member Leo Casey, calling for the lifting of trade sanctions against Cuba.[12] Power has also been criticized for her hostility towards the state of Israel.  She married Cass Sunstein in 2008.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Cass
He is an American legal scholar, particularly in the fields of constitutional law, administrative law, environmental law and law and behavioral economics. Sunstein has served as the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs since April, 2009.  His position within the hierarchy of the administration has earned him the non-official title of 'Regulatory Czar' and he is considered by many to be the most dangerous man in America.

In 2005, the American Constitution Society (ACS) sponsored a conference entitled "The Constitution in 2020," whose purpose was to give liberal/left lawyers and judges a forum wherein they could trade ideas on what they would like the U.S. Constitution to look like 15 years in the future and how they could influence it toward that end. Sunstein participated in this forum, where he put forth his ideas about a "Second Bill of Rights.” The Weekly Standard offered this assessment of the goals of the ACS forum:

“The essence of the progressive constitutional project is to recognize ‘positive’ rights, not just ‘negative’ rights, so that citizens are not only guaranteed freedom from specified forms of government interference, but also are guaranteed the receipt of specified economic benefits. The bottom line is that Congress would no longer have the discretion to decline to enact liberal policies. The triumph of the left would be constitutionally mandated.”

In 1993 Sunstein published the book The Partial Constitution, which contains a chapter titled "It's the government's Money," wherein Sunstein writes that “the Constitution ... forbids government from refusing to pay the expenses of abortion in cases of rape or incest, at least if government pays for childbirth in such cases.”

In 2007, Sunstein co-authored (with fellow attorney Eric A. Posner) a paper titled "Climate Change Justice," which held that it was "desirable" for America to pay "justice" to poorer nations by entering into a compensation agreement that would result in a financial loss for the United States.

Sunstein has very controversial views on cloning. In his viewpoint, cloning should pose no moral dilemma because human embryos are "only a handful of cells."

In 1992, Sunstein stated that the office of the U.S. presidency should be elevated to a position higher than that of the president's administration generally, and that the Constitution should be viewed as a "living," evolving document.

In a recent book, Sunstein proposes that government recognition of marriage be discontinued.

Cass Sunstein is a real piece of work.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Ron_bloom.03
Ron Bloom, who helped orchestrate the multibillion-dollar U.S. auto manufacturer bailout, left his post in August, 2011.  He served as President Barack Obama's car czar from July 2009 through February 2011.  Much of Bloom’s early life revolved around Habonim; a progressive Labor Zionist youth movement that emphasizes cultural Judaism, socialism and social justice.

In 1977, Bloom worked as an organizer and research and negotiating specialist for the Service Employees International Union. (SEIU).

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter Hilda_solis_1219
In January 2009, Hilda Solis who has claimed to be inspired by Cesar Chavez was nominated by the Obama administration for the position of Secretary in the Department of Labor and confirmed in February 2009.  She enjoyed support from the Communist Party USA in her run for U.S. Congress in 2000. She also has indirect ties to the Socialist International. Solis was a keynote speaker at the 2005 Democratic Socialists of America national conference "Twenty-First Century Socialism" in Los Angeles, with DSA leaders Peter Dreier and Harold Meyerson.

Ho Chi Minh, Obama’s Freedom Fighter MayorAntonioVillaraigosa
Shortly after winning the November 2008 election Obama appointed Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa to his Transition Economic Advisory Board. In 2009, Antonio Vilaraigosa was listed as an Endorsor of the Communist Party USA initiated Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday organization
Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday is a Los Angeles based organization dedicated to winning a national holiday in honor of Cesar Chavez.
The organization is closely allied to the Communist Party USA.   Villaraigosa and Gilbert Cedillo and worked on the CASA newspaper, Sín Fronteras.  Villaraigosa and Cedillo became deeply involved in Centros de Accion Social Autonomo, or CASA, an immigrant’s-rights organization led by the Mexican-American Communist Party USA leader Bert Corona.

“At CASA, we wanted to organize the undocumented into unions, instead of seeing them as a threat,

Ok...these are the radicals, Communists and Marxists/ Socialists that Obama has surrounded himself with.  This give you any idea of Obama's leanings?  If you hang out with, and work with people who have particularly radical ideas, are we to assume you don't share their views?

After reading all this, I am even more firmly convinced Obama is a dyed-in-the-wool Communist. He wanted to Fundamentally Transform America...and he's doing it!

Yeah, the Obamites should be even more tired of defending their man than the Bushites were. I cannot believe they still think GWB was more crooked than Big O.

The need to root for a side and stay blind to the wrongs of that side never ceases to amaze me.

They still think onlu the (R)'s say stupid crap. I have never heard an (R) say anything as dumb, as intellectually deficient, as this.

Yeah, W had his problems to be sure.  But man...Communists in the White House???

I'm not saying Obama has a card in his pocket that sez he's a member of the Communist party.  But if something looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, mom was a duck, dad was a duck, grandma and uncle are ducks, hung around ducks when he was a kid, was mentored by ducks and appointed a buncha ducks to help him....its probably a duck

Obama is clever though.  I've noticed a number of times he uses humor to sort of ridicule those who say he's a communist or socialist.  And his followers roar with laughter.  But that's self-deprecating humor and they don't understand.  If I joke about how I'm fat and bald, it doesn't mean I'm not fat and bald.  It means I AM fat and bald.  I'm just trying to disarm people with humor.  If I were skinny and had a head full of hair and made that joke, people would just be confused.

For a group of people who like history, you folks sure dropped the ball on this one. Look into the writing of the Vietnamese Declaration of Independence and Ho Chi Minh's relation to the United States prior to the Truman administration. Ho Chi Minh did look up to Jefferson, going as far as to quote him in their Declaration of Independence and to compare the Vietnamese struggle with the French to that between the US and England. What Obama said was historically correct.

The purpose of the letter in question, which was from Ho Chi Minh to Truman, was to attempt bridge a growing divide between Vietnam and the US. During World War II Ho Chi Minh worked closely with American operatives in the fight against the Japanese, developing close personal relationships with several American Intelligence Agents. Based on what Ho Chi Minh perceived as the parallels between the Vietnamese and American struggles to cast off the yoke of oppressive colonialism, President Roosevelt's views on Vietnamese independence, and his close relation with the US during WW2, Ho Chi Minh expected that he would have the US's support in their struggle with France. After the death of Roosevelt, the Truman administration decided to back the French over the Vietnamese as part of a communist containment strategy. Minh was trying win back America's support.

How could he possibly have expected the US's support given that Ho chi Min was a Communist?  Min defeated the French (our ally...remember we helped liberate France only a few years earlier) and began to sweep through Vietnam and establish the Communist regime.  And he thought the United States was going to support him in this???  Truman had led the war to defeat the Japanese Empire, a regime who had used its military to conquer people all over Asia.  There was no way Truman would have gone along with the subjugation of the people of S. Vietnam.

Look into FDR's views on French colonialism and tolerance of communism (hint: his head of propaganda was an open member of the American Communist Party) and you'll get your answer. Ho Chi Minh expected Truman to continue FDR's policies, which didn't happen.

Thank goodness.  Smile  Who was his 'head of propaganda'?
I think both fascism and communism had begun to infiltrate the United States and our govt in those days and I think similar groups are doing it again today.  In fact I know they are.

Maybe Joe McCarthy wasn't wrong after all?

At any rate, its very hard to get around the fact that Obama's friends and advisors and mentors are peppered with outright communists.

Joris Ivens, whose importance I may have overstated. After looking into his background, apparently he was just a filmmaker that made propaganda for the US Government.

McCarthy was way off base. There were some communists in American government during the New Deal, however McCarthy served in a very different time in which the United States embraced a very different set of values.

Our government isn't overrun with communists, our country is overrun with people who don't seem to know what communism is. Hint: Thinking that the government should have some role in insuring some base level of economic equality isn't necessarily communism, its progressive liberalism.

FDR did start us down the current social path to ruin. Thanks to his, and policies based off of them, our true debt is over 185 trillion. He fully realized what De Toqueville wrote. We continue to exploit it today. That is the only reason the current Pres is even in that office.......buying votes with treasures from the public coffers.......the blueprint to social and fiscal ruin.

I was sort of kidding about Joe McCarthy.  Very Happy   He was overly zealous in his inquisition.  But it does appear that the Communist Party made an all-out effort to infiltrate govt back then as well as get their message into the entertainment industry.  And I really wonder if maybe this isn't happening again.  Maybe not Communism, or Marxism  but definitely Democratic Socialism.  From what I understand Democratic socialists endorse a post-capitalist, socialist economic system as an alternative to capitalism.

When  I hear things like "Income Redistribution", what am I to think?  This certainly isn't capitalism.

I'm talking about some of these things in another thread because my ideas really don't fit here.
