Not really, if you read that you see that there is 9 guns per 100 head of population, and you haven't been able to get anything larger than a .22 since 2009. Hell, we're not even allowed have swords here: http://www.rte.ie/news/2009/0901/samurai.html. So, We are all fucked after all.
