I tried. Got a couple to join, but I think the lack of members drove them out. I would ask people in other forums, but tend to think that is bad manners.

Douglas showed up for a couple of days then disappeared........been getting spam emails from an account with his name ever since.......not that he is responsible.......just a coincidence.

I dunno indont mind it just being us boys, but would be nice to have a little more variety argument inducing opinions

Miles needs to get a couple of his buddies to join. That Irish point of view is unique.

I would invite mort but were no longer friends or on speaking terms because i mistakenly made an offhanded attempt at humor and mentioned something about the "token black guy" in this group pic of him and his friends lol, that didnt exactly go over too well lol. I was like damn, there only must be 5 black people in scotland for cryig out loud. I onow i shouldnt have said it simply because idk the guy and he was an FB friend with mort/dave, but he took it pretty serious and i guess thinks im a racist now. We sure arent as uptight about that shit here, at least in my dealings in the south. I mean you can joke around with black friends about shit like that but only if your good terms with them. Still, this dude never even seen the message so inwas surprised when he basically told me to fuck off over it. Oh well though, my life was fine before his cyber friendship and its fine now lol

I know those Brits are touchy/feely. I mean comeon, I ain't saying anything here that I wouldn't say in person. I'm too old to put on airs. People where I live tell you exactly what they think, when they think it. I realize that emotion doesn't reflect in print, but if we were person to person, I'd still tell anyone exactly how I feel. Of course then tone would make the message different.

I hate people who are offended easily. They think they can say anything they want and we are just supposed to shut up. No way, if I don't agree I will tell you. There isn't much you can do to offend me. You can irritate me, but not offend me enough to make me not want to talk to you again.

Besides, if a southern Louisianian sees blood in the water, we don't even bother circling. We just rush in. The worst thing one can do with us is let us know something we said bothered you. We will keep picking that scab just because we can.

Anyway, the misinformation about us Southerners really bugs the crap outta me. I don't really have that many friends(about a dozen or so that I call friends). Half of those are black. We initially shocked Californians when they heard me and them call each other things like "nigga" or "coonass"(coonass is the Americanized version of counasse which meant filthy whore). It is between us and nowadays, in my neck of the woods, it shows deep friendship because you are not gonna let anyone but your best friends call you names like that('course any of you guys can call me whatever you want.....I like you guys that much). We know when someone uses it in a derogatory manner. Times have changed and people my age and younger are not our parents. I have no problem with my buddies calling me nigga or coonass. In fact when I was young, I actually thought my nickname was nigga. My grandfather called me te'neg which in Cajun means little black boy. Doesn't matter if you are black or white, you will still be called nigga by your friends down here. 'Course when foreigners (and by foreigner I mean anybody not from here) hears that, they immediately think "racism". A racist white dude wouldn't last long down here. Whites are the minority.

Even the word coon still carries racial overtones toward blacks. I try not to say the N word around black people period, even if they are my friends, but thats just becuz coming up as a lil wigger, i seen some white boys get a lil too comfortable with the word around the wrong black peeps or at the wrong time u know?

And idk if she was born and raised in LA or if thats their accent, but i think the way vanessa hudson talks is pretty sexy.

I actually trolled with this lady back in the college days (trolling is 2 stamps and one tab)......drug days are long gone for me though. Never dated or touched her, but she is from right down the road from me and hung out at all the same places. She liked to party a lot(not the slutty type of party) and had quite a few friends down here before making it big. 'Course it wasn't like we were best friends. Just had a few really stupid conversations that we thought were intelligent at the time. I heard her on TV not long ago......man but she lost her accent.

Then, while I'm working in Cali, I meet this girl's brother. He is paralyzed from the neck down and he was braggin about how his sister was a famous movie star. I asked him what movies and it turns out she's a damn porn star. Anyway she actually went out to eat with us a few times. On one occasion we were eating sushi at Yanagi's in Santa Maria and my buddy Ryan is there. She walks in, sits down and Ryan, who is already feeling good on saki bombs, says "Oh my god, it's f*ckin Aurora Snow. I can't f*ckin believe it. Girl I just wacked off to you not an hour ago". To this day Ryan does not understand why she didn't think that was funny. I laughed my ass off.

Yeah he went off on me too. He butted into a private fb conversation I was having with a girl I went to high school and he got bit. So he goes off on me in the public group, picks up his toys and goes home. I dont care if I ever hear from him again. Loose cannon.
