A good argument against universal background checks

To sum it up(for those who are too busy to read):

If universal background checks are required, there is no way to track all current unregistered firearms.
I could sell a firearm at any time and government cannot prove that I sold it after the passage of required checks.
A national registry would be needed to track all firearms.
Criminals cannot be forced into registering a firearm that they cannot legally own due to 5th amendment.
Law abiding citizens then become criminals and criminals carry on the way they always have and the cost is passed on to the tax payer.

In a nutshell: Just another needless law that will do nothing towards its intended purpose, but will cost taxpayers dearly.
