Snow Empty Snow

As many of you may know, California is staring down a drought at the moment. About a month ago I posed a thread on the Facebook forum that concluded with a storm finally showing up and dumping a couple feet of snow over the crest of the Sierra Nevada. From that storm until last night we'd received virtually no more snow. From the sounds of it, I think we got about a foot or so of snow over the crest from this storm. Here is a pic from Yosemite Valley (from of the USDI Park Service):
