Define It

To all those calling for an AWB. Please define an assault weapon for me.

According to those who invented the damn things, an assault weapon is one that fires an intermediate power cartridge and has the ability of selective fire(full auto/semi-auto/burst fire).

Considering that these weapons were developed after 1935, they were never legal for US citizens to possess.

Therefore there are no assault weapons in the hands of US citizens(other than active military and LE).

So please define assault weapon for me people.

Be aware, none of these are assault weapons, but all fall under the proposed ban(yes, even the bolt action gun falls under the proposed guidelines).
