Nixon Presidential Library
Have any of you been to one of the Presidential libraries before? I took the wife to Disneyland in Anaheim over the weekend, and we elected to go check out the Nixon library down the street in Yorba Linda. Below are some of the things that caught my attention, however the museum collection contains many other fascinating specimens associated with the Nixon presidency (lots of ornate gifts from foreign leaders).
A view of the library from the rose garden in the back.
A segment of the Berlin wall.
A rock specimen brought back from the moon.
Actual limo used to transport four different presidents. They'd fly this car around the world to wherever the President was traveling.
The house the 37th president was born in (actually in its original location). This small, two bedroom house (main bedroom down stairs, second bedroom for all the children up in the attic) is where he spent his early childhood.
The graves of both Richard and Pat Nixon are located out behind the house. I'm sorry for not providing pictures of these, however I felt it would be rude to photograph them as if they were some tourist attraction.

Next time I'm in LA I hope to be able to make it to the Reagan Presidential Library up in Semi Valley, unfortunately we didn't have enough time during this trip. That said, unlike Reagan, Nixon was a true born and raised Californian.

Why does the Nixon library have a bit of the berlin wall? I can understand the moon rocks, but not that - it was built under Kennedy's presidency and knocked under Bush I's...

So? Reagan was there, said "tear down this wall" even, does he have a bit in his museum?
