Well considering God has always been a scientist then maybe so.
God created the world and saw that it was good. So God had a hypothesis, God conducted an experiment, and then God formed a conclusion. So God is a scientist who performed the most important experiment in the history of the universe. Therefor God is good and science is good. I conclude that there is nothing wrong with either science or religion. They're only as bad as a person wants to abuse them.
