Double ur money?

Saw a picture posted online rhat gave the tired old argument that every dollar spent on food stamps puts $2 back into the economy, similar to peloskis claim about unemployment. But we know this is impossible because if so, then we would all be on food stampa and our economy would double. Still dont get how ppl think government can create wealth, when all it can do is move money from group to group. But that money is still coming from a closed system. In other words, it all comes from the taxpayers, and there is no iutside source of revenue.

What was their rationalization for Food Stamps putting $2 back into the economy?  How did they arrive at $2?  From what I an tell, the money one uses with Food Stamps is tax free.  So that means that money (which is coming from the State) is not taxed.  Are they saying the money that isn't taxed means the economy saves somehow?  And if so, how did they come up with $2 for every $1 spent?  My taxes are only about 8%.   That's only 8 cents on the dollar.

They didnt offer any justification, just as peloski didnt. Its all fuzzy kaynesian math.
