Palestinian kids taught to hate Israel in UN-funded camps, clip shows
Is there any real difference between this camp and the Hitler Youth programs? This is why there will never be peace in Israel.New video footage appears to show Palestinian children in summer camps run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) being taught that “Jews are the wolf,” and that they will one day conquer Israeli cities by force.
Entitled “Camp Jihad,” the report says it shows footage from UNRWA summer programs in the Balata refugee camp north of Nablus and in the Gaza Strip. The focus of the camps, according to campers and staff in the clip, is educating the young Palestinians about the “Nakba”, the Palestinian term for the consequences of the 1948 war in which Israel won its independence.
Many of the children and teachers return to the theme of an idyllic, worry-free Palestinian existence, sitting on the beach and sailing the Mediterranean, until the Jews expelled them.
“Our parents were on the beach,” a teacher in Balata tells the young campers sitting around her during story time. “They sailed ships, they would travel, they had cars, palaces, and villas… Every night they would tell stories.”
She then asks the children if Palestinians still have the sea, and if they want to go to the sea in Jaffa, Haifa, and Acre. Notwithstanding her passion for teaching about local geography, she asks the children if they would like to return to the sea in the land-locked city of Nazareth.
Her story soon takes a chilling turn. The Palestinians were having a nice barbecue on the beach when a wolf appeared, she recounts. “Who is the wolf?” the teacher asks. “The Jews! Isn’t it true that the Jews are the wolf?”
“Who expelled us?” she asks the kids, who listen with rapt attention. “The Jews!” they yell energetically.
“I will defeat the Jews,” a camper named Tayma tells the documentary crew. “They are a gang of infidels and Christians. They don’t like Allah and do not worship Allah. And they hate us.”

The camps are run by the U.N. Relief and Works Agency and are targeted to children, Israel National News reported.
Israel National News reported that the camps are paid for with funds from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the European Union.

You've gatta do better than a Washington Times (A newspaper founded as a christian, conservative alternative to the considerably more prestigious Washington Post) article that only cites other Washington Times articles. You might as well have been citing The Blaze.Dennis324 wrote:The camps are run by the U.N. Relief and Works Agency and are targeted to children, Israel National News reported.

And if he did? Just because you dont like the source, doesnt make the facts contained within any less true. Now you know how we feel when we have to source the NYT or washington post? If its an issue that interests you, im sure you could find your own acceptable (liberal) source. But very often, we're left without any "mainstram" sources to quote, because they only cover what they want to cover. Idk, just dont dismiss the message just because you dont like the messenger.

In fact, often times its only the "conservative media" or foreign media that follows stories that the mainstream later picks up once it can no longer be ignored. You want to know about benghazi? Fox news is the place to find out, because the mainstream sure isnt covering it.

NYT and Washington Post are both highly prestigious news organizations, and also tend to cite credible outside sources. The Washington Times article cited its self, essentially asserting that the claim is valid 'because I said so.' The in text citations were meant to bolster their argument to those who wouldn't have checked the sources anyways. I dismiss the message because there is no evidence that the messenger (in this case the Washington Times) isn't lying to sell papers to a demographic thats ready to blindly accept anything they publish.Sir Pun wrote:And if he did? Fox covered (and then over covered) Benghazi because it was something that they and the GOP could try to spin against Obama and the Democrats. While the events were tragic, it was a non-story in the greater scheme of things. Fox's coverage is many things, but credible journalism isn't one.Sir Pun wrote:In fact, often times its only the "conservative media" or foreign media that follows stories that the mainstream later picks up once it can no longer be ignored. What about the Times of Israel? You don't like that one? Ok, how about The Telegraph? Or how about World Net Daily? I don't recall you complaining when I've used them as a source for my other posts. How about The Clarion Project?Bryant wrote:You've gatta do better than a Washington Times (A newspaper founded as a christian, conservative alternative to the considerably more prestigious Washington Post) article that only cites other Washington Times articles. Don't look for the main stream media to report on this. You wont find it because it doesn't fit the agenda.

It doesn't mean that the event didn't happened. It means that at the time, it was embarrassing to the Liberal Media. Finally, after Fox kept pressing the issue, ABC news began to cover it. Now Reuters covers it. CNN is covering it now. Why? Because the attack happened and it is important. It is scandalous. Are they all out to try to spin it against Obama?Bryant wrote:Fox covered (and then over covered) Benghazi because it was something that they and the GOP could try to spin against Obama and the Democrats.
