My favorite Westerns of all time. Have I missed any? 

Have you seen Ride the High Country?

I think I may have missed that one.  But its a Sam Peckinpah film and is bound to be good. 

My favorite Western is probably High Plains Drifter, followed by Pale Rider and Major Dundee.

Just watched a Peckinpah movie.....The Wild Bunch!!!

Favorite is a three way tie between all of the "Man With No Name Trilogy".

True Grit(both old and new)
Sons of Katie Elder
Outlaw Josie Wales
Unforgiven
Dances with Wolves
Open Range

Second tier:
Two Mules for Sister Sara
Magnificent Seven
Rooster Cogburn
The Shootist
Pale Rider

Actually, I give up. My TV almost always stays on Encore Westerns. I love westerns. I would be here forever trying to name them. Wayne and Eastwood rule supreme though.

The Shootist is a good film but I always get sad coz I know it was John Wayne's last one and he had cancer while making that film.
