Thanks to corporatism, we have companies running the show in pretty much every country these days. They, along with the political class, have insulated themselves. They have created a false dichotomy that people eat up like gravy on buscuits.

Keep eating that gravy.

Biscuits aren't tea cookies over here. They are a breakfast bread. White milk based gravy with breakfast sausage is sometimes poured over the top.
