Hurricane Isaac

Just wanted to take a moment and send prayers out for Mark and all those who may be affected by the hurrican/tropical storm. Its my understanding that this storm has slowed and is dumping billions of tons of rain on the area. We're getting a tiny bit of it here, but nothing like those folks in Louisiana. (Also wondering about Shelby Stanga the swamp logger on lake Ponchitrane. And his faithful dog 'Piss willy'.).

Eh, I'm in California. I thought about going home for the storm, but since it was supposed to hit east of us, I didn't. My wife told me they got moderate amounts of rain and very little wind gusts. She doesn't believe the wind ever got about 40 mph. All-in-all the property fared well with no damage other than superficial.

I do appreciate you taking the time to think and pray for us though.

Cool! You know, I was certain we'd get tons of rain here (and I'd lose my Directv connection for the Bama game), but it barely sprinkled here.
