Dream purchases
Of course, yall know my views on certain types of weapons. But assuming I could dream, this one would be high up on my list of dream rifles. Note, the first 2 aren't weapons I'd want by crazy alcoholic neighbor to be in possession of. Lol!
Browning Assault Rifle. One of the coolest during it's time.
German MG42. One seriously bad weapon.
Getting more realistic though, here's one I'd love to have:
Weatherby Mark XXII
SAUER 202 Classic
The Stoeger Coach Gun. Double-barrel Shotgun. Just to have.

Re: Dream purchases
The Browning BAR in your top pic is my number 1 dream firearm.
Number two is actually worth more:
A Colt Walker
A real M1-a1 (Mil spec Thompson):
A nice Merkel Drilling (shotgun/rifle combo gun):
This is a closeup of how a Merkel combo loads:
Sure there are others, but those are the biggies that I will never be able to afford.

Re: Dream purchases
For affordable firearms that I will own one day:
Winchester 1887 (lever action Shotgun ala The Mummy)
E Arther Brown custom falling block single shot
PPsh41 (one of the first personal defense weapons...Finnish WWII weapon....uses the same round as a Tokarev pistol)
I know it sounds passe, but Desert Eagles are actually very good:

Re: Dream purchases
That Colt Walker was one of Josie Wales' pistols wasn't it? I like that one.
Here's a pistol John Wayne used on many of his films.
Here's Dirty Harry's S&W .44 Magnum.
The Colt Python below. I have a friend who has a Colt Python .357 Magnum. Doesn't kick as hard as I thought it would. I can fire it one handed pretty easily. But the noise, even with earplugs and the concussion gives me a headache. Feels like someone busted ya in the head with a bat. Lol!
And here's the Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum. Man I just love all these pistols!

Also here's Charles Bronson's .475 Wildey Magnum. This one has a satin nickel finish. That same friend has one that is chromed up nicely. He says he'll never fire it, but I think I'd have to at least once.
The M1911 is still one of my all time favorites. Its the pistol I learned to shoot with in the Navy.

Re: Dream purchases
this, to me, would be the next pistol I want to get. The S&W Model 60 .38 Special / .357 Magnum. Note the small frame that would be easier to conceal. It would be perfect to carry in the console of my pickup.
Its probably not as small as the Walther PPK.
But the .357 would pack a heckuva lot more punch.

M1 Rifle
I saw R. Lee Ermy firing one of these beauties on tv the other night.
The M1 Garand. Patton called this rifle the best.
Since it fires a 30-06 shell and is semi-automatic, shouldn't I be able to purchase one of these at a gun shop legally? this shouldn't be considered a Title 2 weapon should it? Its basically a really cool deer rifle.
