Will James Woods ever work in Hollywood again?

Post by Dennis324 on Thu Oct 10, 2013 7:45 am

James Woods, the award-winning actor and outspoken conservative, has taken his unbridled bashing of President Obama on Twitter and elevated it to an art form.
Woods’ latest post smacks Obama over the closure of national parks and memorial sites in Washington during the government shutdown.
“This President is a true abomination. To have barricaded the WW2 vets, but allow illegal aliens privilege.”
Now, the actor isn’t sure he’ll work again, saying his nonstop critiques of Obama on social media will hurt him in Hollywood, a town dominated by liberals.
One of his Twitter followers asked Woods if he was afraid his political views would get him blacklisted in liberal Hollywood.
“I don’t expect to work again. I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first,” Woods responded.

The star of films like “Ghosts of Mississippi,” “The Onion Field” and “Casino,” isn’t shy about expressing his disapproval of the president.
In September, Woods called Obama a “gift from hell” for sharing personal data on Americans with other countries.
“Report: Data on Americans shared with Israel … Obama: the gift from hell that keeps on giving.”
In July, the actor ranted about Obama’s comments on the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case. Woods characterized the remarks as fueling racial tensions.
“Just curious. Does the president of the United States have any advice for other teenage boys in America? Wounded warriors for example.”
Another tweet from Mr. Woods: “The only reason people lock their car doors when Obama walks by is they are afraid he’ll tax them to death.”

Truth is..Woods may be right.  He may not get any more work..in Hollywood.  But Conservatives are in the process even now of building studios and I feel sure they need fine actors to play in upcoming projects.  He may have to work in Dallas though.
